What we're all about

Kirsten and Annelise have known each other since kindergarten, becoming friends through a mutual love of math, science and technology.  They've been collaborating on science-y stuff for years, from building earthquake-proof toothpick/marshmallow buildings in eighth grade to working with their robotics team throughout four years of high school.  After attempting the Conrad Spirit of Innovation Challenge last year with the Soil Refiner, they made it to the semifinals before elimination.  This year, their product CompBraille made it to the finals, with the opportunity for the two to travel to Cape Canaveral, Florida and compete at the Conrad Foundation Spirit of Innovation Summit!
